Mrs. Gibson's Wild Muffin Madness

As written by Mason and Lydia:

Our class is making pumpkin muffins because it is close to thanksgiving.

1. First we measured the dry ingredients and put them in a big mixing bowl.

2. Then we measured the wet ingredients and put them in separate bowls. The two eggs looked like eyes staring at us.

3. We mixed them together to make the batter. It was smushy and it smelled very very weird.

4. The next day we got to see them in a ziploc bag. They looked so yummy we couldn't wait to try them.

5. The day before Thanksgiving we got to eat the muffins. They were very good.

6. They were yummy!

Our Visit to the Fire Station

As written and typed by Alisa & Max. These 4 photographs were voted on by the class as representative of their field trip.

Max: Step, step, step, Mrs. Gibson's class walks through the fire station.

Alisa: We met a firefighter named officer Steve. He taught us about fire safety.

Max: We got to see him dress up in his fire gear. His mask lets him breathe oxygen in fires.

Alisa: The rest of his gear helps him stay safe in fires. Under all that gear is just officer Steve. Don't be afraid of him.
